COURT RATES

Season courts are for play dates across the 2023-2024 season beginning Sep 7th, 2023. There will be no season court play on Nov 23th or Nov 24th, from Dec 24th through to Jan 1st and May 28th. When booking a season court the Captain must provide details of all the players in their group.

If you wish to cancel this contract, (less the non-refundable deposit) you may cancel by mailing a written notice by certified or registered mail to the club, INTENSITY, 490 WESTPORT AVENUE, NORWALK, CT 06851. The notice must say that you do not wish to be bound by this contract and must be delivered or mailed before June 30th, 2023. After such time, you will be responsible for payment in full for the season court.
You may replace a player if they relocate their residence further than twenty-five miles from the club operated by the seller or from any other substantially similar club which would accept the obligation of the seller. This contract may also be cancelled if you die, or if the club ceases operation at the location where you entered into this contract. If you become disabled, you shall have the option of getting a substitute player to assume payment of that portion of the contract term for which you are disabled. You must prove such disability by a doctor’s certificate, which certificate shall be enclosed with the written notice of disability sent to the club. The club may require that you be examined by another physician agreeable to you and the club at its expense. If you cancel, the club may keep or collect an amount equal to the fair market value of the services or use of facilities you have already received. The Club reserves the right not to renew any/all season courts.

Court captains are responsible for all payments on or before the first day of play. Court captains must supply the names and email addresses of all players in their group before the first day of play. All players must sign in at the front desk. A service charge of 1.5% will be assessed on past due accounts. Make-ups will be given at the end of the season only if the club cannot fulfill seasonal court time responsibility due to cancellations. Court numbers may be reassigned at any time. Proper tennis attire is required, no black soled shoes. Any reserved open court or lesson must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance else paid for in full. Upon completion of assigned time, players are required to leave the court. The club reserves the right to cancel any membership for any cause deemed appropriate. Players on season courts agree to accept instruction on adjacent courts which may mean the playing of music/use of equipment, and possible loud noise from time to time. Due to the nature of the game injuries can occur, I acknowledge the risks and waive INTENSITY of any liability for such.

A $500 deposit will be charged to your credit card to hold your selected court. No credit card payment will be processed unless a season court has been allocated to you. The balance will be processed at the start of the session. If you do not have a credit card on file we will contact you for payment details. Deposits are refundable on cancelations before May-30th 2023.
