A Special Letter from Ryan Ginley about The USTA New England 12s, 14s, 16s, 18s Super Six Sectional Championships (Level 3) – June 24-28 @ UMASS (Amherst, MA)

I want to thank everyone for what was the greatest single week of my professional career. The teamwork, camaraderie and success during the recent New England Sectional Championship was amazing. The players, parents and staff of coaches and trainers did an incredible job of playing their part and “Setting the Tone!”

Our player’s played their hearts out as Intensity was not just a program name, but an identity. Everyone fought and battled and did exactly what we emphasized for the month leading up; concentration, consistency, compete and composure/calm. I felt good about our preparation going into the event, but once I saw how everyone handled themselves I knew we had planned perfectly to peak for this event.

I cannot thank the parents of our players enough. They were all terrific and supportive to both their children and our staff. Well done by you all. It is a joy to have such professional and appreciative parents in our program.

I am indebted to our staff of elite coaches and trainers. It is such a pleasure working with all of you everyday. I am so lucky to be on the same team as all of you. Everyday is a joy to come to this program because of our common goals, philosophies and enjoyment of each other personally. This week was the culmination of 9 months of work and I have never been more pleased with the results and enjoyed myself more than this years event. We are absolutely heading in the right direction and at a consistent and determined pace. The best is yet to come.

Special congratulations to Ellyse Hamlin and Nick Condos for their championship runs. These were special and very meaningful accomplishments. What a great way for Ellyse to end her New England sectional career.

Sam Svendsen had a tremendous run to the finals and put herself in position for the title playing the best tennis of her life. She will learn a great deal from the experience.

Sam and Nick have achieved career high national rankings with these results. Nick is #85 and Sam in #95 in the country!! Big congrats to you both.

Andrew Mercorella and Ally Daquino also achieved their first national rankings after getting wins at the event. Congrats to you both. Lots more to come.

I hope to see you all this summer. The fall schedule and sign ups will begin soon so stay tuned as we continue to SET THE TONE!!!!
